According to the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics:
“Employment of paralegals and legal assistants is projected to grow 28 percent, much faster than the average for all occupations. Demand for paralegals also is expected to grow as an expanding population increasingly requires legal services, especially in areas such as intellectual property, healthcare, international law, elder issues, criminal law, and environmental law.”
The legal assistantcourses provide ample classrooms and a specific area for legal assistant study. In addition, students have access to library and computer labs, which are open additional hours to provide work-study time outside of classes. Also, enrollment provides each student online resources such as library services, a student portal, email and online companion courses.
